Civil society letter on Mario Draghi’s high-level report on competitiveness

Due to be published in June, civil society organisations have not been consulted on the content of the Draghi report, even though it is likely to have a huge impact on the next European Commission's mandate. We are concerned about the lack of transparency and access to the process of writing this report. Draghi has so far primarily listened to business in the preparation of the report. We also believe the overall philosophy that Mr. Draghi set out in his speech in La Hulpe on the 16th April follows the wrong path. Here is the letter that Balanced Economy Project have cosigned, and see here for further commentary.
