Open letter to the EU Commission

Yesterday, together with 35+ public interest groups, we urged European Commission president Von der Leyen and her colleagues to resist political pressure from Big Tech companies and prioritise the decisive enforcement of Europe's tech laws. The Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, and EU antitrust rules are crucial for protecting our democracy and our economy.

Big Tech CEOs are seeking to mobilise the Trump administration to protect their ability to exploit users and businesses dependent on them. This exploitation has created an unfair digital economy and has negatively impacted the dynamism and pluralism of Europe’s economy.
